Topic
A Curved Implant in Pelvic Fragility Fractures
Description
Join us for our Spring 2022 Master Class exploring use of the CurvaFix® IM Implant and the challenges it may help to overcome in treating pelvic fragility fractures, which affect nearly 100,000 people annually in the U.S.
Pelvic fragility fracture repair can be limited by patient health, weak bone and bone curvature. The curved stable fixation of the CurvaFix IM Implant may improve patient recovery, reduce pain, and enable earlier mobility for these patients. The only intramedullary device to follow the natural bone shape to facilitate a new approach for pelvic fracture repair, the CurvaFix IM Implant procedure is minimally invasive using standard fluoroscopy.
The Master Class will be moderated by Milton Lee (Chip) Routt, Jr., M.D., and early experience using the novel Implant for pelvic fragility fractures will be shared by an expert panel of key thought leaders including Matthew P. Gardner, M.D., Joshua Gary, M.D., Hank L. Hutchinson, M.D., and Samir Mehta, M.D.
During this Master Class Webinar, you’ll learn:
• How the CurvaFix Implant helps to address challenges and trends in pelvic fracture fixation in osteoporotic bone.
• How the flexible device may help pelvic fragility fracture patients compared to conventional treatment.
• Details of early cases from surgeons that have used the CurvaFix Implant in pelvic fragility fractures.
The CurvaFix Implant is cleared by the FDA and is intended for fixation of fractures of the pelvis
